Santi Scibilia, founding artisan
My name is Santi. I was born in Sicily, among the citrus groves — that light and those scents have been part of me since childhood.
I grew up in a real Italian grocery shop, between crates of lemons and conversations at the counter. That is where I understood something that has never left me: a good product is never anonymous. It has a name, a face, a story.
One day, I chose to start all over again. Leman Spirit was born from that fresh start, in 2022: the desire to bring the true taste of home to the shores of Lake Geneva.
I peel the lemons and mandarins by hand, one by one. I let the zest macerate slowly in Swiss organic alcohol, never rushing anything, then I blend in spring water from the canton of Vaud. It is slow, it is demanding, it is artisanal — and that is exactly why the result is a reflection of me.
Two expressions, born from the same hands: Lemandarin, made with organic Sicilian mandarins, and Lemancello, made with organic lemons. Two citrus fruits, two characters, one single standard.
I do not mass-produce. Every bottle leaves my workshop in Prilly with the care I would give a friend. When you taste it, you will not just discover a liqueur: you will step into a story — mine.
